History

Bath Fringe Festival 2009
BATH FRINGE 2009
Friday May 22 - Sunday June 7
(maybe even a bit longer!)

The Festival is over for another year. We had a stonkingly good time, to tell you the truth!
We've kept this year's programme up for the moment, so if you don't know us, you can see the sort of things we (and all our promoter friends) do. Sign up for news (see EMailng page, from the list on the left) and come back next year for more...

Like what you see? Don't like? Like something more?? Want to comment on anything you saw this year? Get onto our corner of the social networking scene (see Stop Press, right) and tell us (and your mates) all about it!

If you want to know more about the Fringe's Visual Art programme click through to their site here.

Elsewhere on this site you can find out more about being involved in the festival this year or next, or information if you're already doing something; find out more about everything from the history of the festival to getting around Bath; or sign onto our EMailing list for regular updates, including warnings about changed, cancelled or sold-out shows... That's useful!

Bath Fringe lives at admin@bathfringe.co.uk or 103 Walcot Street, Bath, Somerset, England, BA1 5BW.

Bath Fringe is a CoOperative and a Company Limited by Guarantee, registered in England and Wales: company number 2716515. Its registered office is 103 Walcot Street, Bath, Somerset, England, BA1 5BW.

STOP PRESS:

see you next year!
...but don't forget the new Bath Blues & Jazz Festival (see www.coolerfestivals.co.uk)

Programme corrections
There aren't many:
we didn't do a proper credit in print for our poster/cover artist, who was and is Laura Ratcliffe at Bath Spa University. And pretty fab the picture is too, a pleasure to work with her.

Like, Totally...
This year we linked up with the Keynsham Arts Development office (hi Jules!) and invited some members of their 'Show and Tell' scheme to visit some Fringe events (of their own choosing) and write about them afterwards. To see the results, look at this page (except maybe if you're a member of Cycling Fish Theatre)

Read more about it!
The alert among you may have noticed a new sub-heading over on the left column. Our 'Downloads' section includes our various reports and paper we circulate to potential advertisers, etc., as well as what will become an archive of documents connected to the running of the festival organisation (accounts, meeting papers), the sort of things that we have no reason to be keeping secret if people want to read them (doesn't mean you have to, tho'), all in the spirit of transparency, accountability and other polysyllables ending in -y.

Fringe goes all 21st Century
If you want to see some great pictures of Fringe 2008, look at our flickr page (compiled by moonson.co) - and the associated flickr Group.
We've moved the 2007 pics to photobucket because there wasn't enough room. The Group name there is also "bathfringe".
Clicking on this ought to get you there.
AND we've now got a youtube channel with Jasper's videos of past Fringes. It's at http://uk.youtube.com/user/bathfringe
- or just search 'bathfringe' in channels on youtube.
The ones which didn't fit (too long) can be found on google video through an ordinary search.

If you're on (or are accustomed to read) myspace, facebook, blogger, livejournal, or orkut, we're playing with the blogging & networking thing. Pop by and say hello...
Search 'bathfringe' on any one of those and you should find us...

Volunteer Here...
If you would like to volunteer, or be be involved in some other capacity, be in touch on admin@bathfringe.co.uk.
There's always plenty to do: and we particularly need people experienced in stewarding at events, with First Aid qualifications, etc.
